Greetings Church Family & Friends, January 9, 2021
Looking back over the past year of 2020, as Americans, it would be easy to assume the events of last year to be bad as it can get. However, 2021 is very quickly getting us to think otherwise. The lifestyle changes taking place last year seem to only be the tips of the iceburg going into the near and distant future. It is very easy to ask ourselves, "how can it get any worse?" Nonetheless, we do not have to look too far back in the history of mankind to see there have been parilous times that could easily be defined as the worst of the worst.
Yet, this history is only the birth pains of creation leading to the return of Jesus Christ. If the first few days of 2021 is only a movie trailer in the direction we are headed, then one could hardly disagree with the statement, "we better start looking for the answers instead of adding more questions to the test of life while not answering the others."
When we look into the Bible, we find example after example of folks who were facing troublesome times to the point of not having anywhere to turn but to the Lord for help. The sensible thing would be for us to get that point sooner than later. There is a recurring them I find when reading the Scriptures and learning about these folks. Those folks had a "Resolve" about them as they lived by faith. They resolved to live their lives and made their decisions based upon their faithfulness to not waiver from being the individual God called them to be.
As a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Pastor of FSBMagnetcove, I seek to lead whoever will follow to be like minded. To be resolved to live as Christ. May we learn to echo the words of the Apostle Paul when he said "to live is Christ and die is gain." If 2020 and 2021 teaches us anything. May it teach us to resolve ourselves to be focused on what God is doing in the world around us. May it teach us to resolve ourselves to Seek the Lord while he may be found. May we resolve to surrender to God's Will and not our own. May we resolve to keep our eyes of Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. May we resolve to be a city on a hill that cannot be hid. May we resolve to let our lights shine so brightly and our testimony to be so authentic, we put shame those who bring a charge against God's elect.
What will it take for you to be resolved, no longer to linger or be charmed by the worlds delight?
During this season, we have tried to keep our watermark amongst the muck as best we can through our in person services, live streaming, and our online gatherings. We will try to exhaust every avenue we can to make sure anyone has the opportunity to know the Truth that sets us free. We would love for all who can join with us in learning to know God more and encourage one another to show others the greatest love we have ever know.
Check out our Announcements for more info.
May the Lord bless you and keep you,
Pastor Aaron Polk

Greetings Church Family & Friends,
After much prayer and discernment from several of our family members, we feel the time has come for us to return to having our Sunday morning worship services in the sanctuary on July 5, 2020, @ 11 AM.
This season in our lives has come with several lifestyle challenges that have left all of us with different feelings and thoughts on how we should go about the new normal. If there is anything this season of life should have taught us, it is for us to a 20/20 vision on where our focus in life needs to be. This focus should always be on making sure we are living our lives with the clarity of Christ being glorified in our lives.
In every season of our lives, we all can look back and find the decisions we have made. Some decisions revealed great blessings. Others, not so much. I share these remarks because I am sure we will look back during this time in our lives and see great blessings and times of not so much. Regardless of what decisions we make, it is imperative for us to be sure all is done to honor and glorify God.
FBC Magnet Cove exists so that a community of believers can gather to share and show the love of Christ while learning to become better followers of our Lord and encourage others to do the same. Our existence is not only inward-focused but outward as well. We desire to be the hands and feet of Christ to our neighbors near and far.
During this season, we have tried to keep our watermark amongst the muck as best we can through our Drive-In Service, live streaming, and our online gatherings.
With that being said, we will continue to hold our Sunday Evening Family Matters Series @ 6 PM and Wednesday Prayer Meeting @ 7 PM online through our Zoom Meetings. We invite you to stay or get connecting with us during this time. Just ask Bro. Aaron for all the details.
We will still be using the online live service format through Facebook and our new YouTube channel.

The program is...
Created for ages 8-12 and enjoyed by the whole family, Adventures in Odyssey® award-winning audio dramas teach lasting truths and bring biblical principles to life, with just the right balance of fun, faith, and imagination.
The adventures often start with grandfatherly Mr. Whittaker ("Whit"), who runs an ice cream shop called Whit's End. Young friends from all over town come to Whit for advice, and his employees (perky Connie Kendall and genius Eugene Meltsner) often learn as much as the kids! And Wooton Bassett, the zany, fun-loving mailman, helps the kids in his own unique way.
Take this opportunity to listen to Adventures in Odyessy and discover it is something the family can enjoy together.
Blessings,
Jessica
